Campcrafter


Campcrafter I (ages 13 to 16)

- One-week program

The Campcrafter I program is designed especially for teens ages 13-16. This one week program is the perfect opportunity for your teenager to spend time at camp with other teens making friends and experiencing what camp has to offer. Teens will have an opportunity to take part in intermediate-level activities but will emphasize more on group problem solving, teamwork and intermediate to advanced-level adventure activities. Those include:

  • Adventure Activities
  • Rock Climbing
  • Mountain Biking
  • Mountain Boarding
  • Rappelling
  • Caving
  • Outdoor Cooking
  • High Ropes
  • Zip Line
  • Pool time everyday!
  • Fun and exciting camp activities

The session is completed with a magical, final campfire ceremony where campers are recognized for their participation and accomplishments.

Campcrafter I (ages 13-16)

Campcrafter II (ages 13 to 16)

- Two-week program

Teens in the Campcrafter II program spend two whole weeks at Camp Piomingo. This program allows teenagers to strengthen friendships, build responsibility and improve their skills in the activities. In addition to all of the intermediate to advanced-level Campcrafter I activities, this program adds another adventure element for its campers…a trip away from camp to canoe the Ohio River (offered Sessions 1-3) or an overnight trip to white water raft the Cumberland River (offered Session 4 only). Campcrafters will also experience their own Outpost where they will spend two nights away from camp, cook all of their own meals, climb the Alpine Tower and much more. Advanced-level adventure activities include:

Campcrafter II (ages 13-16)

Stay Over Program

The Stay Over Program allows campers to extend their stay for multiple sessions. All meals, supervision and laundry are provided along with a fun day at a local attraction. Campers are treated to a camp out and movie under the large pavilion, pizza party and lots of swim time.

*Despite the closure of Six flags, the Stay Over Program will not be affected. Additional activities are currently being scheduled for a fun and exciting weekend.
